Paramount just released this teaser to formally 'announce' the movie. Remember that attached to Peter Jackson's return to Middle Earth in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opening December 14th will be 9 minutes of Star Trek Into Darkness in IMAX 3D as well as the first full trailer in front of conventional theatrical showings. The Star Trek 3D sequel opens May 17th:
